Is this your part?
Take off the cold handle, unscrew the brass retainer nut and lift the cartridge out. The original part is stamped GP1152350. Match a cartridge 15mm across the body with a splined brass stem, a white ceramic window in a black body and a blue seal at the base. A black cartridge with a two-port base and no brass nut is the widespread style, a different part.
When to replace it
The spout drips with the cold handle shut, water weeps past the handle base, the handle turns stiff, or the faucet is slow to shut off. A new cartridge restores the shutoff without replacing the faucet.

How to install it
Time: About 20 minutes. Tools: Screwdriver, Adjustable wrench.
- Shut both supply stops under the sink and open the faucet to bleed pressure.
- Remove the cold handle.
- Unscrew the retainer nut and lift the old cartridge out.
- Drop the new cartridge in with the index tab aligned.
- Thread the retainer nut down snug. Do not overtighten.
- Refit the handle, open the stops and test the cold side for a full shutoff.
Questions
Will this fit the hot side?
No. The hot and cold 15mm cartridges are not interchangeable because the ceramic disc clocking is different. The hot side takes the replacement for Kohler GP1152349, sold separately.
Is there a hot and cold pair?
