| Two-handle ceramic disc lavatory stem for Delta, Glacier Bay, AquaSource and Luxtra faucets | Danco 3S two-handle bath cartridge family |
Pull the handle and bonnet nut and look at the stem. A ceramic disc stem turns a quarter turn stop to stop and has no rubber washer on the bottom. It has a broached top for the handle, one O-ring, and a tab at the base that locates it in the valve body. If yours turns through several full rotations and has a washer held by a screw, it is a compression stem.
The spout drips after the handle is closed, the handle needs extra force to shut off, it has gone stiff or gritty, or it spins without controlling flow.
