The original parts come out in pieces: a ribbed white bonnet with a brass stem on top, a white pressure balance spool below it, and a small splined limit stop dial on the stem. If yours came apart that way and the stack measures about 4.75 in. from stem tip to spool base, this is the kit. If the old cartridge pulled out as one solid ceramic disc unit, you have a different Gerber series.
The shower drips at the head or tub spout, water weeps around the handle, the temperature creeps hotter mid-shower, or it surges hot when a toilet flushes elsewhere in the house.
