Pull the hot handle on the left and back the stem out. Match a brass compression stem about 4-1/4 in. long with a 16-point C broach at the handle end and a flat washer screwed to the tip. The center diverter on the same valve is longer at 5.4 in. with a Z broach, so a Z broach means you pulled the middle handle.
The spout or showerhead keeps dripping with the hot handle shut, the handle has to be cranked hard to close, water weeps up around the stem, or the handle has gone stiff and gritty. A worn stem, its washer and the seat it closes against cause all of it.
