Pull the middle handle. The diverter stem is brass, about 5-3/16 in. long, with a 12-point splined tip, external threads on the body and a diverter head at the bottom instead of a flat washer.
Water will not go up to the showerhead, the tub spout dribbles while the shower runs, flow splits between both outlets, or the center handle has gone stiff and gritty.
