Your old seat is a short brass insert down inside the valve pocket with a hex or square hole in the middle, visible once the stem is out. Back it out with a seat wrench and match the thread at 21/32 x 18, the hex socket size, and the tapered face.
The tub spout drips no matter how hard the handle is turned, water weeps past the handle, or a fresh stem washer stopped the drip for a week and then it came back. That pattern is a grooved seat face, not a bad washer.

Time: 5 to 10 minutes per seat. Tools: Seat wrench, Screwdriver, Adjustable wrench, Thread sealant or PTFE tape.
Years of washer movement and mineral deposits cut a groove into the seat face. Once the face is grooved, no washer will seal against it. Replace the seat.
21/32 in. x 18 threads per inch, the size Pfister catalogs as 970-500 and 5713.
Ten seats rebuild three complete three-handle valves with one left over, or cover ten single-side repairs.
No. You need a seat wrench that fits the hex socket.
