How to install it
Time: 20 to 30 minutes for a cartridge swap. Tools: Screwdriver, Needle-nose pliers.
- Shut off the water and open the valve to bleed line pressure.
- Remove the handle and escutcheon to expose the cartridge.
- Pull the retainer clip with needle-nose pliers and set it aside.
- Slide the tool over the cartridge stem and rotate back and forth to break the mineral seal.
- Pull the cartridge straight out without sideways force.
- Reverse the steps to install the new cartridge.
