Look under the sink at the back of the drain body. If a horizontal rod runs into a threaded nut there and connects to a flat perforated strap behind the faucet, this is your part. Measure the old rod end to end and expect close to 6-1/2 in.
The stopper sticks open, drops on its own, will not seal, or the lift rod moves but the stopper does not. A weep at the back of the drain body when the basin is full points to a worn pivot nut washer.

Your drain needs a horizontal rod entering the back of the drain body. Measure the old rod and expect about 6-1/2 in.
The nut is too loose or too tight. Snug it a quarter turn at a time until the weep stops.
